Arts Award

Make Plays Change Lives

Peer Productions is a unique youth arts training company specialising in peer education through theatre.

Peer Productions are a registered Arts Award Training Agency.

The Arts Award is an exciting vocational arts based accreditation for 11 to 25 year olds.  It is currently offered at three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold - levels 1, 2 and 3 on the Qualifications Credit Framework.

Arts Award aspires to support any young person to enjoy the arts and develop creative leadership skills.

Young people can undertake an Arts Award in any area of the arts from fashion to poetry, rapping to dancing, sculpture to film.

They can be the creator or performer of their own work, or develop their skills in essential roles like marketing or stage management.

Arts Award is flexible enough to fit around young people's other commitments, and young people do their Arts Award wherever arts projects are happening, including youth clubs, arts centres, schools, colleges, theatres or community groups.

Young people will end up with a portfolio that shows off their creativity and gives them a recognised national qualification to put on their CV.

In order to support young people through the accreditation you must have undertaken the relevant training course with a registered Arts Award Training Agency.
