Generation Girls was a 10-week empowering drama programme for girls. Led by a female facilitator and supported by a team of trained female peer educators aged (18 - 21), the programme explored those issues that matter most to young women in a safe and supportive environment. Topics included self esteem and body image, healthy relationships, and mental health.
Having successfully completed two pilot projects with a range of girls, Peer Productions gained funding from Awards for All to run a Generation Girls Project specifically for young women aged 13 - 19 years with moderate learning disabilities. The project ran from January 2017 in Bellfields in Guildford.
