The Alcohol Project London Premiere
14th June 2011
We are delighted to announce the London premier of The Alcohol Project at Somerset House on 19th July.
Written by Nina Lemon and Directed by Jason Orbaum, this 90 minute musical designed to educate young people about the consequences of alcohol misuse.
The play was inspired by stories gathered by the team of young actors from people whose lives are affected by alcohol including young women at Downview Prison and children of alcoholic parents. The play is currently touring schools across the south east and is produced by Peer Productions, an award winning social enterprise that specialises in using peer education to provide a voice for those young people who are hardest to reach and to tackle those issues which are hardest to address.
This performance is for an exclusive invited audience and is hosted by The Big Society Network and sponsored by The Hazelhurst Trust.
