Drama and Film One Week Summer Schools - Book Now

4th July 2011

Award winning youth arts company Peer Productions are looking for wannabe directors and budding performers to take part in their summer creative challenge.  So if you’re aged 11 - 19 years and want to spend this summer making a film or creating a play then  this is your big chance!

From 15th to 19th August young people will have a chance to work with Peer Productions‘ professional team and will have just one week to make up their own short film, direct it and be the stars.

“Making a film is lots of fun,” adds film course leader Jason Orbaum, “When we have run these projects before we have made all kinds of different genres; music videos, action thrillers and quite a few horror zombie films.  This really is a chance to take creative control.”

Then on Monday 22nd August young actors will be shown a poster for a brand new play. They will then spend the week devising, writing, improvising, composing and performing before presenting their new play to friends and family on the Friday night.

“For both courses everyone is welcome,” says Peer Productions Director Nina Lemon, “You don’t need any experience as our leaders will guide you through every stage of the creative process.”

Venue:  Woking Youth Arts Centre

Film Week:  15th - 19th August 2011

Play Week:  22nd - 26th August 2011

Fee £150 per course or £200 for both.
