Peer Productions on Radio 4

11th November 2011

On Friday 11th November 2011, Nicky Bowman, a media volunteer for the National Association for the Children of Alcoholics, spoke on Radio 4's Woman's Hour about the issue of familial alcohol misuse.

Peer Productions were very fortunate to have Nicky come and work with us during the research phase of our touring production The Alcohol Project.

Nicky inspired our young people and writer Nina Lemon to create a character in the piece who lives with an alcoholic parent.

To hear Nicky speak about this issue and hear her mention of her work with us please visit http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b016x42p#segments.  Nicky is in Chapter 3 of the broadcast.
