Full Course Overview

The course is accredited using the RSL Level 4 Creative Practitioner Diploma, a qualification specifically designed for aspiring industry professionals, offering specialist career-focused training for artists, producers and entrepreneurs across the creative industries.

Entry to the programme is based on audition and interview and learners are expected to demonstrate their commitment and  focus on the performing arts from the outset.

Cohorts are small with no more than 20 learners accepted each year and most work carried out in groups of around 10 learners ensuring a high level of individual input and personal development. Each learner is assigned a mentor for the year with whom they meet every six weeks to track individual development and plan next steps.

Units are taught by performing arts practitioners who develop their own practice alongside and with the learners as part of a working theatre company model.

All the young artists who train with Peer Productions are individual with their own unique strengths, areas for development and ambitions.  As a result no two learners will have the same path through the qualification or learning opportunities offered.

Creative projects, masterclasses, taught courses and work experience opportunities are all mapped against the RSL Creative Practitioner Diploma informing how the young artist see themselves and how they plan their development as a creative.
