Peer Productions, one of Woking’s biggest youth theatres, is proud to present its’ production of ‘Oklahoma!’ at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre in Woking. This stunning production by a talented young cast tells the tale of cowboys and farmers in the rural West of America. Curly, a young ranch hand is infatuated with Laurey. Unfortunately, they are both too proud to admit they love each other… and that’s where it starts to go wrong. So don your cowboy boots and hat and come on in for a good old fashioned hoedown. Performances start at 7.30pm on 28th and 29th February, plus a matinee at 2.30pm and an evening show at 7.30pm on 1st March. Peer Productions is a local youth theatre which runs on Sundays from 2pm. Based in Knaphill their work includes last year’s stunning theatrical adaptation of Philip Pullman’s ‘His Dark Material’, as well as their celebrated full time ‘Peer Education Through Theatre’ course.
