October 06 His Dark Materials Part 1

Peer Productions, Woking’s New Youth Theatre, are pleased to announce open auditions for an exciting new production which will be performed at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre in 2007.

Professional theatre director and Peer Productions co-founder Nina Lemon is delighted to have secured the rights to Nicholas Wright’s adaptation of Philip Pullman’s ‘Northern Lights’ trilogy – His Dark Materials.  The three popular books have been adapted into two plays and Peer Productions will perform part one in February and Part two in May. Auditions for Part One will take place on Sunday 29th October and full details are available on the companies website – www.peerproductions.co.uk or by calling Nina on 07815 148413. “We are looking for young performers aged 8 – 23 years to perform in this production,” said Nina, “The actors need not have any previous experience as long as they are enthusiastic and willing to work hard to bring this spectacular production to life!”

Peer Productions meet every Sunday during term time at Woking Youth Arts Centre. Reasonable youth theatre fees apply.
