Our Actor Development Programme, based at South Hill Park Arts Centre, is an one-year, full-time, intensive course for young actors, aged 17 - 23 years.
- Tour to up to 15,000 audience members every year.
- Study towards a Level 4 Creative Practitioner Diploma.
- Perform with an award-winning theatre company.
- Graduates have gone on to study at LAMDA, GSA, LIPA and East 15.
Since 2006, Peer Productions have offered this unique training experience, which combines practical learning opportunities with an accredited qualification, to over 100 young people.
Many alumni have progressed on to establish illustrious careers, with graduates staring in West End shows (The Book of Mormon, The Wind In The Willows), national tours (The Railway Children, 2017) and successful Edinburgh Fringe productions (Bleach, Ingo's War, Lipstick and Scones).
This free course will enable you as an actor to have the opportunity to tour challenging topical plays for young people, to deliver workshops with members of the community and to develop your own creative practice. We actively encourage BAME, LGBTQ+ and disabled actors, and value the positive impact that diversity has on our team.
Join us, and make plays change lives.
