Are Peer Productions a professional company?
Peer Productions is a not for profit organisation. Our founders and artistic directors Nina Lemon and Jason Orbaum are professional theatre practitioners and our office is overseen by our General Manager Claire Tristram. We also employ some Peer Productions graduates to run our after school drama programme. However, our undergraduate company you see on tour are volunteers undergoing our one year full time Peer Education through Theatre Course. They are typically gap year students or young people hoping to gain some more experience before progressing as arts practitioners, youth workers and teachers in their own right. We occasionally employ graduates to tour specific productions, providing them with the next step in their professional acting careers.
