The Risk Taking Project
June 2010 - August 2011
With underage conception, alcohol/substance abuse and antisocial behaviour ongoing issues for older teens it is time to explore where these behaviours begin. What happens at key stage three to turn sensible and friendly children into risk taking uncommunicative youths? This suite of four interactive plays was designed to make students consider their own choices, the risk taking of others, and the consequences of these behaviours. Part performance, part workshop, this project was practical way to engage students in open discussion and provide them coping strategies for difficult situations.
Abby's Story - Internet Safety
This interactive, classroom based, production offers students the opportunity to consider their own safety online and signposts them to further sources of help and support making the internet a safer place to be.
Dan's story - Knife Crime

Jonny's Story - Unhealthy relationships
For girls, this play offers the opportunity to reflect upon and explore the gender pressures all young people experience.
