Vacancy: Development Officer

We are an exciting, enthusiastic, socially-concerned theatre charity that works with young actors to tour plays to local secondary schools and sixth forms across the South East, using our productions to change young lives for the better.

Our plays and projects reach thousands of young people every year – we have performed to 100,000 thousands students across our eleven year history – and we are looking for a candidate to help us seek funding to continue this valuable work.

The Offer:

What We’re Looking For:

Peer Productions are looking for an articulate, thoughtful and excellent written communicator to join our small and dynamic team. The successful candidate will be able to support the team’s work through helping us deliver our development strategy. We are seeking a confident and self-motivated Development Officer to understand what we as a charity can offer potential partners and to promote our work effectively, growing our partnerships and extending our reach.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Openness to new ideas and change, love working in a small team and be able to work on their own initiative and without supervision.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • First class written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people at all levels.
