Children's Drama Workshop

Drama workshops for children and teenagers can provide a welcome relief from the pressures of school work but how do you know which groups are reputable and which classes are right for your child?

When contacting a youth theatre company or drama class provider don't be afraid to ask the following:

  • Who will be leading the class and what experience do they have?
  • What is your child protection policy?
  • How many students are in a class?
  • What is the staff/student ratio?
  • How much is the course and can we have a free trial?
  • Are there any additional expenses I should be aware of?
  • In an emergency who can I contact?
  • What do you do during the workshops?
  • Do you do productions? How often? What are they? Where?
  • How old are your students and what age ranges are taught together?
