What does Peer Productions do?
Peer Productions run a one year full time volunteer training programme for young actors aged 16 - 24 years. During this year they receive training as Peer Educators and actors and deliver a series of arts projects and touring productions within their community. These productions are usually linked to the PSHE/ Citizenship/SRE curriculum for secondary schools although occasionally we deliver cross curricular work (particularly in Key stage 2). We offer workshops for primary and secondary school and after school drama clubs led by graduates from our unique training. We also run a large youth theatre for those aged 8 - 23 years.
