Can I do stage management aspects of technical theatre?

In the run up to productions we are very happy for youth theatre members to undertake some of the prop making and other such backstage tasks. Some members of our youth theatre also undertake stage management rather than performing roles on our shows. However, we do not run a 'technical youth theatre' as such.
