Superheroes by Jason Orbaum

February 2011 - February 2011

Stage 2/3 (ages 12 to 23) present:

SUPERHEROES by Jason Orbaum

Warren is a failure.

Jill doesn't know he exists.

His comic bookshop is floundering.

He still lives at home with his mum.

Then he has two unexpected visitors on the same day: Firewood Books offering big bucks to sell his store and an American fan girl named Alysia who might, if he'll allow her, turn his fate around.

Meanwhile on the other side of the moon, evil super-villain the School Master has kidnapped young Sparrow Wing.

With The Matriarch, who's in a wheelchair but can change the weather, Catvixen, dressed for fan boys with a fetish for leather, but with certain other 'hidden' talents, Rapid's speed, Knightmare's strength and Captain Wonder's flying ability surely Justice Etc can save the day. After all they did save the world from the Quaxx invasion.

Will Jill and Warren live happily ever after?

Can Sparrow Wing be saved?

Will Captain Wonder ever be returned to normal size?

Find out in this cosmic romantic comedy - Superheroes The Musical.

Superheroes was performed at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre from 17th to 19th February 2011.
