Branching Out is a supportive, creative drama club from award-winning theatre charity Peer Productions, designed especially for children in Years 5 to 7 who may be feeling worried about the move to secondary school or anxious about settling into a new environment. 

Sessions will take place over five weeks, held every Thursday evening from 12 November to 10 December, from 6:00–8:00 pm.

Sessions will be at Lockwood Studios in Guildford and are led by fully DBS-checked, professionally trained facilitators, with specialist experience working with neurodivergent children and those with SEND. 

The project uses drama games, storytelling and playbuilding, with children taking part in creative activities that help them explore change, build confidence, make new friends and have fun! 

Referrals are welcome from teachers, social or family workers, and parents/carers for children they feel would benefit from extra support during this challenging but exciting transition.
