Peer Productions is moving - Twice!
We're delighted to announce that, from September 2026, we will be moving to a new interim home at Lockwood Studios in Guildford, as we continue to work towards our permanent new base at Henry Plaza in Woking town centre.
As we've previously announced, we must leave our current building by September 2026, following its sale to a new owner who plans to convert it into a gym. Since then, we have been exploring a number of possible interim options to bridge the gap until our move to our permanent home.
We're now pleased to confirm that we have secured a new base at:
Lockwood Studios
Westfield Road
Guildford

Lockwood Studios is a thriving arts centre with a warm and inclusive community at its heart. Originally created to support adults with learning disabilities, the building is well suited to the needs of our learners. The site is also home to artists' studios, creative businesses, and other likeminded charitable organisations, as well as community radio station Kane FM, giving it a real creative energy.
The centre features an enormous performance space, giving us more room than we have had before, alongside a number of additional spaces suited to our different programmes and a dedicated office. The site also includes a community garden and outdoor space, a daily community cafe where learners can buy food at break times, and safe on-site space for taxis to pull in.
Dr Nina Lemon, our CEO and Artistic Director, spoke to PEP learners in person to share the news, and said:
"We know that change can be particularly challenging for our neurodivergent learners, and we are very grateful for everyone's patience and support through what has been a genuinely difficult period. In many respects, Lockwood Studios will offer even greater opportunities and benefits for our learners than our current base."
Progress towards a permanent home at Henry Plaza
Alongside the move to Lockwood Studios, our plans for a permanent home continue to progress well. Our new building at Henry Plaza, in the heart of Woking town centre, is being designed in partnership with our young people and will offer a secure 25-year lease and a space built around our learners' needs.
We have now raised £1,047,000 towards our £1,547,000 target. We are working hard to close the remaining £500,000 gap and are cautiously optimistic about moving into Henry Plaza mid-year. Lockwood Studios will provide us with a secure home for the full year, should the build or fundraising take a little longer.
For any questions about the move, families and learners are welcome to get in touch with us directly.
